new energy is a key source of information about the international renewable energy market, providing insight not only to professional operators, planning institutions and manufacturers and investors, but also to all supporters of renewable energy sources.

new energy focuses on the current technical, economic and political developments pertaining to all forms of renewable energy including wind, solar, biomass, small-scale hydro, wave and geothermal energy.

new energy is the official magazine of the European Renewable Energy Federation EREF, a grouping of associations from EU member states committed to promoting and expanding the use of renewable energy sources. The magazine cooperates with the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA).

new energy is issued bimonthly with an average circulation of 5,500 - 6,000 copies and distributed worldwide with a special focus on European countries. The magazine is published by the German Wind Energy Association and has its editorial office located in Berlin
